Warranty replacements

Allure Gold's 18 Carat gold Layered and filled products are guaranteed not to tarnish, discolour or fade.Allure Golds lifetime warranty does not cover wear and tear of a product.If your customer has any problems with our items simply have them return the item along with a $10 note (posting and handling charge) and a copy of his/her invoice (as this will not be returned) and guarantee slip and send to the address on the guarantee slip.

Please note we will only accept returns direct from the seller within 4 weeks of the sale date. After this time the customer must return the item direct to us.

Allure Gold has its own range of jewellery manufactured in the US with a unique process that ensures the jewellery lasts a lifetime. The base metal is jewellers brass, which is non allergenic, and the layered 18 Carat gold is 75 mil (about 15 times as thick as plating) and 150 mil (about 30 times as thick as plating). The jewellery does NOT have a clear coating like some other companies. Clear coating on Gold jewellery can give rashes and can cause green marks on this skin. Quality is our first priority and all our gold thickness are X-Ray Fluorescence tested.

Solid Gold Layered and Filled Jewellery are not to be confused with plated jewellery as there is no comparison. Gold plated jewellery chips, flakes and wears off. Solid Gold Layered and filled jewellery have a very high gold content.
The Gold is 30 times as thick as plated jewellery on our filled pieces and 15 times on our layered pieces, hence the jewellery can be worn everyday.

Just like Solid Gold Jewellery, our jewellery will not lose its beautiful lustre and shine. Allure Gold Jewellery can be worn everyday just like solid gold jewellery.  Jewellery can be worn in the shower and to bed.  DO NOT WEAR JEWELLERY IN POOLS OR IN SALT WATER as this will void your warranty. Just like any piece of fine jewellery, frequent cleaning is recommended to maintain its true beauty. How is Solid Gold Layered Jewellery Made?
Solid Gold Layered is made by fusing a layer of 18 Carat Gold to Jewellers Brass using equipment that carefully controls pressure, heat and time. The bonding produced is a permanent one.

How long will Solid Gold Layered Jewellery last?
The point to remember is that gold, along with its other unique qualities, is virtually indestructible. Since, by law, you are guaranteed a substantial layer of gold on your jewellery, with reasonable care it will last a lifetime.

Is Gold Layered the same as Gold Plated Jewellery?
NO! Do not mistake Layered jewellery for plated jewellery as there is no comparison. Gold plated jewellery chips, flakes, and wears off. Gold Layered jewellery is fine jewellery that is in fact 15 times as thick as plated jewellery and can therefore be worn on a daily basis.

What does mil stand for?
1 mil is equal to 1 millionth of an Inch which is a term for measuring the thickness of gold. Allure Gold only sells 75mil and 150mil gold jewellery, which is 15 - 30 times as thick as standard plating.

What is 18 Ct Solid Gold Layered?
Solid Gold Layered Jewellery is a solid layer of quality gold heat bonded onto Jewellers brass. It has all the great characteristics of solid gold jewellery without the price tag. Solid Gold Layered jewellery is extremely long lasting and if taken care of will last a lifetime.

Does Allure Gold Jewellery contain Nickel?
Yes there is a small amount of nickel used to bond the Gold Layering to the Jewellers Brass. Most people allergic to nickel will not react to Allure Gold Jewellery

How do I care for my Gold Layered jewellery?
Just like any piece of fine jewellery, frequent cleaning is recommended to maintain its true beauty. Salt water, chlorine in swimming pools and perspiration take their toll on all fine jewellery including Solid Gold Layered Jewellery. Just wipe with a soft cloth to keep your gold layered jewellery clean and free of elements which oxidize.
